Chester Sessions was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in many callings over his lifetime. He loved our Savior with all his heart.
He was born February 8, 1926 to Roy Sessions and Chloe Rosella Welker. He married Vernell Butt on February 14, 1945 in the Salt Lake Temple. She passed away in 1989. He married Naomi Wilkey in 1990. She passed away in 2014.
He was reunited with Vernell, the love of his life on November 1, 2015.
Preceded in death by parents, 11 siblings, one son-in-law, and one great-grandchild. Survived by his children; Gary (Patricia) Sessions, Karen (Lavar) Drummond, David (Kimberly) Sessions, Pamela (Tom) Jensen, Rebecca (Robert) Leake, and Susan (Paul) Pace, 34 grandchildren, and 79 great-grandchildren. He was also loved by the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the Wilkey family.
The funeral service will be Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary Chapel, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Road (10600 S.) in Sandy. Viewings will be held Friday, November 6, 2015 from 6:30-8:00 pm and Saturday from 1:00-1:45 pm also at Larkin Sunset Gardens. Online condolences: www.larkincares.com
