Our father, friend and husband Dennis Leslie Price graduated from this life on November 10, 2018, with a release from his Parkinson's infected body. He was born September 8, 1936, to Samuel Leslie Price and Ruby Fern McCarty Price in Salt Lake City, Utah, the first of three boys.
He married Shirley Mae Erickson in 1956 later divorced, they were blessed with three children Randy, Teri and Todd. He married Charlene Payne 1987 where he welcomed her three children Shellie, Jodi and Richard Kay Payne. Marriage later sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple.
Dad was a true craftsman, he could build, fix or tackle any project, from building the family cabin, starting with cutting the logs. He loved to create things from wood, leather, and steel.
A lineman who worked for Utah Power and Light and Idaho Falls City Power, where his friends and mentors were many. His hard work was an example, he never backed down from a challenge. An avid outdoors man, who love to hunt and fish.
His greatest love was his wife Charlene, children and grandchildren. He will be remembered as a support to all. Through his sacrifice we have all been blessed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Lynden Clark and George Terrence Price and his first wife Shirley. He is survived by his wife Charlene, her children Shellie Hansen, Jodi Roberts and Richard (Tyan) Payne, Randy (Shirley) Price, Teri (Peter) Johnson, Todd (Julina) Price and 12 Grandchildren Eric (Jennifer), Michael, Jordan and Bo (Melissa) Price, Timothy Grayson, Siara (Gary) MacKinney, Kennadi and Zackary Roberts, Kayden, Katherine, Lyndsey, and Justus Payne and 4 great grandchildren Allison, Isabella, Clarke and Carter Price. Thank you to all those who have helped care and support him during the last year, The Ridge, CNS and Brighton Hospice.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 17, at 11:00 am at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) Sandy, UT. Viewings will be held on Friday, November 16, from 6:00 ‚ 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 9:00 ‚ 10:45 am prior to the service at the mortuary. Interment will take place at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
