Gregory Steven Evans passed away at his home in Sandy, Utah on Friday, June 23, 2017 at the age of 62.
Greg is predeceased by his parents, Diana Wellington and Keith Wellington, and his son, Ryan Evans.
Greg is survived by his loving wife Janice Taylor Evans of 31 years. They were married in Utah on February 15, 1986.
Greg is lovingly remembered by his wife Janice; Sister Janet (Bob) Martin; Sons David (Nicole) and Richard (Zeina) Evans; Daughter Nicole (John) Berrett and loving nieces, nephews and Grandkids.
Greg was born in Kansas City, Missouri in 1955. He received an honorable discharge from the navy he served 7 years.
Greg enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, and especially spending time with his family and his dog Jake at his cabin in Fruitland Utah.
Greg was a very loving, strong, outgoing and friendly man. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
A gathering of remembrance will be held at Larkin Sunset Gardens on June 28, 2017 at 11:00 am. Larkin Sunset Gardens is located on 1950 E Dimple Dell Road 10600 S, Sandy, UT 84092. The family has asked that friends and family share any memories or stories they wish to.
