Dean passed away on September 8, 2016, in Salt Lake City, UT. He was born in Salt Lake City on June 12, 1948 to Nedra Meinhart and Albert Dean Richardson. Dean focused his life on service to his country, his family and everyone he crossed paths with throughout his life.
Dean gave 37 years of his life in service to his country. He served in the Vietnam War as a heavy lift sky crane operator. He served in the Persian Gulf War in the 419th Transportation Company.
Following the family tradition, Dean was an avid rock hounder with the Wasatch Gem Society.
Dean is proceeded in death by his mother, Nedra. He is survived by his father, Dean, his brother Mark, and his wife, Dana.
A public viewing will be held Wednesday, September 14th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 S Camp Williams Rd, Bluffdale, UT. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on the 14th at 12:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
