Brent Olsen Christensen was born June 5, 1959 and passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 1, 2017. Brent was called home into the arms of his Heavenly Father and his loving parents Vincent Jenson Christensen and Reva Olsen Christensen.
He served faithfully in the Albuquerque New Mexico Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He attended the University of Utah and went on to continue the legacy of his Grandfather and Father in the insurance industry. He was devoted in his service to his clients and built many lifelong friendships. He married the love of his life Allison Frisbee Christensen on August 29, 1998. There wasn't enough time in the day, they couldn't get enough of each other. Brent was best with his sweetheart. Things he enjoyed most in life were summers in Laguna Beach, Harley rides, ATV's and Jet Skiing. He loved being silly with his two beautiful grandchildren, who in turn, adored their Papa. His witty sense of humor, contagious laugh and infectious smile is the icing on the cake of this kind, gentle, loving man. He is now in the hands of the Lord to continue his work.
Brent is survived by his wife Allison, his three daughters Ashley Lynn Christensen, Cari Elaine Ackerman (Sterling), Tara Christensen, and two grandchildren Cruz and Liv that lit up his heart. He is also survived by his two adoring sisters Vicki (Carl) McGavin and Jill (Scott) Bruderer, so many nieces and nephews that he was the favorite Uncle to.
A visitation will be held in his honor Thursday, December 7th from 6-8pm at Larkin Sunset Lawn at 2350 East 1300 South. There will also be a visitation Friday, December 8th from 10-11am followed by the funeral services from 11-12 at Monument Park Stake Center at 1320 South Wasatch Drive. Interment, Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery.
