Our family Matriarch, "Grams", passed away on January 19, 2014 at the age of 95. She was born December 12, 1918 in Salt Lake City to Harald Anders and Sara Skablund Jensen. Married Bernell B. Barney on January 6, 1940 in Salt Lake City solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on August 30, 1961. He died February 7, 1973. Survived by her children Raelene B. Moore, Brent B. (Marie) Barney, and Brenda B. Milner; two sisters, Maxine Shurtz and Marian Bithell; 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Preceded in death by her son, Harold L. Barney, granddaughter, Teresa Moore, sisters Ella Griffin and Florence Yeager, and brother Harold Jensen.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 22, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 E.
