Carmen Jean Gomez Mills was born March 19, 1932 in Salt Lake City. She passed away March 17, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was 1 of 7 children born to Raymond R. and Emma J. Gomez.
Mom you were an amazing mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. We were blessed with your feisty spirit, huge heart, beautiful smile and your wicked sense of humor. You drew everyone in and were loved more than you will ever know. You always put your family first and they you. Your home was always open and filled with love, food and amazing memories. Although you have left a void in our hearts that will never be filled, we know you're at peace now; enjoy your time with those you've missed for so long. Just always remember… We Love You More!
Carmen is survived by her children Rick (Chris) Olsen, Diana (Dan) Perry, Kellie (Jerry) Knight, Kevin (Julie) Mills, 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, a sister and 2 brothers. She is preceded in death by her daughters Tammy Jean Olsen and Julie Ann Nelson, Grandsons Austin Glenn Knight and Nick Nelson, her parents, 2 sisters and 1 brother.
A viewing will be held on Friday March 23rd from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd. Graveside services will be held Saturday March 24th at 11:00am at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South. Funeral services will follow with a light luncheon at the Larkin Chateau Greenhouse from 1:00-3:00pm at 1910 East Dimple Dell Rd.
