Bret was born April 4, 1959 in Salt Lake City, UT to Don Jack Cloward and Jan Smith. He passed away on November 1, 2015 at his home in Sandy, UT. He married Kimberly Candrl in 1999 and together they had one beautiful daughter.
Bret loved adventure and travel. Among his favorite places were snorkeling in Maui, hiking in the Tetons and exploring National Parks. He loved his Utes, golf, tending his stunning roses and listening to music. He had a great "Punny" sense of humor. Bret was kind and generous. Not just to his family and friends, but anywhere he saw a need.
Bret was a self-made man and was driven to succeed in life. After many years of working in the health care industry, he followed his dream and started Inspiration Hospice in 2004. It was not long after that his drive and determination lead him to add Inspiration Home Health and AMG Senior Medical Group to his successful companies.
He is survived by his wife, the children he loved, Julia, Ammon and Corbin. His parents; two sisters and one brother. Preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 6, 2015 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) in Sandy. A visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6-8 pm and on Friday from 12:30-1:30 pm prior to the services. Online condolences welcomed at www.larkincares.com.
