Mildred Smith Snow, beloved mother, grandma, and friend passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 1, 2018. Millie was born December 21, 1924 in Salt Lake City to E. Wesley Smith and Mary Huskinson Smith. She married Paul E. Snow February 26, 1946 in the Salt Lake City Temple.
Millie's life was one of dedicated service to family, friends, and church. Her witty sense of humor and countless hours of baking endeared her to all. Her family was her pride and joy and she loved cooking and hosting Sunday dinners for them until her late 80's. Millie served in many church callings, Cub Scouts, Primary and Young Women's President. Millie started working when her children were raised at Dahle's clothing stores. As a buyer her sense of style was spot on. Millie endured the difficult events of life with dignity, optimism and humor.
Millie is survived by her son Wayne (Sue) Snow, 5 grandchildren; Emily (Brian) Urie, Mary (Brennen) Hansen, Brian (Niki) Snow, Wesley Snow, and Kate (Mike) Vandivere and 15 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by Paul Snow; her children Mary Ellen Snow and Margaret Snow, grandson Ben Snow, and two great-grandsons, Warren and Weston. Here viewing will be held Friday September 7, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m at Larkin Mortuary on 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah. There will be a graveside service held Saturday September 8, 2018 at 10 a.m at the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
