Frances Darlene Braman Bytheway

1930 ~ 2016

Frances Darlene Braman Bytheway passed away April 19, 2016 at the University hospital. Darlene was born in Alliance, Nebraska to Francis W. Braman and Yvonne Devereaux Braman on August 5, 1930. Darlene grew up and attended schools in Salt Lake City. She married Earl M. Bytheway on September 4, 1948 in Salt Lake City, Utah. While raising her boys, Darlene was very involved in the P.T.A. and she enjoyed bowling and camping with her family. After the boys were raised Darlene enjoyed traveling and fishing with her husband Earl, until he passed away. Together they enjoyed long road trips to Alaska and Mexico, as well as many trips throughout the Continental U.S. They enjoyed seeing places together without being rushed. After Earl\s death she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and her beloved Chew Bee. Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Earl, sister Phyllis, brother Bob, and her grandson Casey. She is survived by her children Thomas Scott (Cecelia), Kelly E, Kip (Tammy), Tim J. (Janet), Kerry (Carryl), Todd (Anegela); 21 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Whether traveling with her best friend and husband Earl, raising her six wild boys or making onion sandwiches with her dad when she was a kid Darlene always had a story to tell. She was full of jokes and songs that could only be properly told by her. She lived her life to the fullest and she will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.

Upon Darlene\s request, a graveside service will be held Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Fountain Green Cemetery, 9200 West 3500 South, Magna, Utah.
