Donna Johnson Isaacson

1930 ~ 2016

Donna was born November 17, 1930 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Harold W. and Mary A. Johnson. She graduated from South High and the University of Utah with a BS in Elementary Education. Married E. Arnold Isaacson August 27, 1952 in the Salt Lake Temple.Donna was spiritual and always active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved serving. She served numerous times as president of Relief Society and Young Women as well as counselor and teacher in these two organizations. She served with her husband while he presided over the Finland Helsinki Mission from 1981 - 1984. She also served with her husband as an ordinance worker in the Salt Lake and Bountiful Temples. She was a docent at the Church Museum of History and Art for twelve years, and was a member and officer of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.

She loved to read, was very artistic and had many interests and hobbies. She brought sunshine, love, music and fun into the lives of her family and she loved life.

Her husband, Dr. E. Arnold Isaacson, and their six children survive: Susan Wayman, Dr. Bruce (Nan), Dr. Mark (Lezlie), Nancy Hansen (Doug), John (Jennifer), Linda Price (Chad); 24 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pheasant Ward, 610 North Rowland Way, Centerville, Utah, where friends and family may visit Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday morning from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
