Goldie Phoebe Jarvis Peacock

1923 ~ 2016

Goldie, 92 years old, passed away 26 March 2016 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born 23 November 1923 in Spanish Fork, Utah, to James Arthur Jarvis and Altha Estell Warren Jarvis. She married Hal Ray Peacock in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Goldie was a captain in the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and served 6 Ω years as Relief Society president in the Riverside 1st Ward. She loved all kinds of needlework‚Äîknitting, embroidery, quilting, crocheting, sewing. She won several blue ribbons at the State Fair for her handiwork. She also loved gardening and canning.

Goldie is survived by Hal Ray Peacock, her husband of 44 years; children: Goldie LaVerne Rasmussen, Kenneth Jarvis Hadley, Joelyn Beverly Weston, Linda Faye Peacock, Gloria Jane Lauber, Julie Ray Peacock; 36 grandchildren; 3 adopted grandchildren; and many, many great and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and 10 siblings.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 31 March 2016 , 1 p.m., at Riverside 1st Ward, 500 North 1100 West. Friends will be welcomed at the church at 12 noon. Interment at Salt Lake City Cemetery.
