Katherine (Kay), our adored wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2015 of cause's incidental to age.
Born July 3, 1923 to Smith Griffin and Edna Whipple in Ithaca, New York. Married Franklin E Massoth on January 10, 1950.
Kay dedicated her life to caring for her family. Many wonderful memories are the result of the time, work, and love she showered on them. She leaves behind her much cherished husband Franklin, daughter Shirley, sons Dale (Honey) and Terry (Lyle), and her beloved cat Cleo. Preceded in death by her brothers Smith, Robert, and Edward.
Kay was an avid reader and keen bridge player. She was a co-founder of the Friends Unlimited Club.
No funeral or other services at her specific request. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity.
