Elijah James Smith was born on December 8, 1997 to Rodney Allen Smith and Roshawna Marie Townsend. Elijah was a loving son, Brother, Uncle, and Grandson. On April 8th, 2018 Elijah\s life was cut short.
Elijah as a young kid loved football. He played for the Murray Spartan for 3 years. He loved skateboarding and making music. Elijah loved to play around and make people laugh. He was a hard worker and had dreams of being successful and going places in life. The words he used to described himself was \"MMAK\" Momma made a King.
He is survived by his Mother; Roshawna(Terrill)Carter, Father; Rodney Smith, Brother;Dominic Smith and Sisters Alexis(Mario)Garcia and Arielle Smith, Grandparents; Rose and Willie Townsend, Grandmother; Beatrice Pryor. Aunt; Amber Townsend, Uncles; Tyrone Townsend, Jerone Townsend, Phillip Townsend, Bobby Johnson, Nephew; Hezekia Manga and Niece; Julie Garcia
Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 E. 1300 S., Salt Lake City, with a visitation prior from 12:30-1:30.
