Born March 28, 1926 to Carrie Mae Stettler and Raymond Wilbert Hile in Shamokin Dam, PA. She graduated from Selingsgrove High School in 1944. Married Thomas Edison Sillin August 18, 1956. Sealed in the Idaho Falls temple.
Irene is survived by sisters Joyce and Mary Jane, brother Raymond Wilbert "Jimmy" Hile, Jr (Judy), son Keith (Patricia), and daughters Tara and Carmen and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas, daughter Maren, and sons Garth and Seth.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 16, 2016, 12:00 p.m., at the Rose Park Stake Center, 760 North 1200 West. Friends and family may visit Friday, July 15th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, and Saturday morning from 10:45-11:45 a.m. at the Stake Center.
