Blanca Teresa Cruz Bravo de Ramírez, 92, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday November 15th, 2014 in Sandy, Utah. She was born on August 26th, 1922 in Lima, Peru to Ernesto Cruz and Griselda Bravo. Blanca married Justino Ramirez on December 8th, 1948. And later they were sealed in the Lima, Peru Temple. She is survived by her eight children: Sonia (Julio Vasquez), Justo (Silvia Zapata), Rolando (Mirta Toledo), Nancy (Kevin Powell), Wilfredo (Maria Ferrezuelo), Rafael (Yanira Sanchez), Teresa (Carlos Rios) and Fanny. Eliana Patricia preceded her in death.
Blanca was the corner rock of the Ramirez family, her strength and values will always be a legacy to her descendants. Her faith in the Lord as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was an example to all the people around her. She loved to be part of the Relief Society serving as a visiting teacher and President in such organization. She loved life, as you cannot imagine, loved music, and most of all she found great joy in raising and teaching her 9 children, 20 grandchildren, and 6 great- grandchildren who loved her dearly.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 19th at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd. (10600 S.), Sandy. Viewing will be held on the same day from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
