Our wonderful wife, mother and Nana returned to her heavenly home on Dec. 1, 2016 surrounded by her husband and children. She was born July 20, 1033 in Compton, CA to James Fredrick Selby and Mandania Rigby. She married Robert Dee Stephens, May 28, 1966 and later solemnized in the Los Angeles Temple on May 28, 1988.
Mom was a determined, loving, kind and funny lady. She loved camping, making crafts, watching football, crocheting, but most of all she loved her family who will deeply miss her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years; daughters, Dania (Norm) Callaway, Patricia (Dennis) Howell, Cheryl (Alan) Acker, Robert W. (Jennifer) Stephens, 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Her parents and 3 older brothers; William, Warren and Paul and her grandson, Ryan Howell preceded her in death and she was looking forward to the \"party\" in heaven. Sweet kisses to our Momma!
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road in Sandy with a visitation from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
