Our beloved mother and grandmother passed peacefully and unexpectedly away in her sleep on October 3, 2013, of complications following back surgery. Sheron was born in Salt Lake City on April 12, 1942, to Christopher D Callahan and Ella Angie Holman.
Sheron found her greatest joy in caring for others. As a single mother she never failed to provide for her children without a thought to her own needs. Her friends described her as sweet, funny, loving, shy and beautiful. To her family, words cannot describe this wonderful woman. Beautiful inside and out, she will be greatly missed. Sheron was a faithful Jehovah's Witness for over forty years.
Sheron is survived by her five children Christine (Ted) Schmidt, Carolina (Karl) Wilson, Teresa (Saul) Torres, Neil Christensen, and Elizabeth (Alex) Elezi; six grandchildren, Joshua, Phillip, Andrew, Samantha, Olivia, Parker and two great-grandchildren; sister Geraldine Sheya and brother John Callahan.
Visitation with the family will be held at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, onOctober 7 from 6 to 8 p.m.
