James Kenneth Bridge passed away August 25, 2018, in Salt Lake City, Utah. James was born May 24, 1941, in Salt Lake City to J. Kenneth and Marie Dietz Bridge. He married Carla Ann Lewis on June 9, 1970, in the Salt Lake Temple. James completed a Bachelor of Arts in English and later a Master's of Education at the University of Utah. He dedicated 33 years to teaching English in both Alaska and Utah. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and faithfully fulfilled many callings including decades long service as a Sunday School teacher.
He is survived by his wife, Carla; children, Jonathan Edward, Paul Kenneth, and Allison Elizabeth; one sister and three brothers.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, September 1, 2018 at the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
