Gary Wade Barr (61) passed away on August 28, 2016 in South Jordan, Utah after a long struggle with colon cancer. He was born on September 15, 1954 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He married his beloved wife, Tamera on November 6, 2010. Gary worked as an attorney for over 30 years, and was known for his no-nonsense perspective, witty sense of humor and his love for his family, the Dodgers and Disneyland.
Gary is survived by his wife Tamera, his four children, April (Jeff Aylward), Andy, Scott, and Robby, three step-children, Anne (Matt McOmber), Cassie (Steve Stanley) and Collin (Emily Rigby) and his six grandchildren, Jeffrey, Sierra, Jaxen, Shadyn, Shiloh and Naomi.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the LDS Church located at 5072 West Dock Street, South Jordan, UT. A visitation will be held Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday morning from 9:30 ‚ 10:30 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Online condolences welcomed at www.larkincares.com.
