Claudia Susan Budd, beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully in her sleep Thursday August 14, 2014 at the age of 80 due to complications from Alzheimer's.
Claudia was an avid gardener, loved her trips to the Oregon coast with her husband Charles "Ted" E. Budd (2005), her place at Bear Lake and family trips to Jackson Hole, WY. She enjoyed her monthly luncheons with close friends and always looked forward to her Sunday LDS church meetings. Her life changed with the arrival of each grandchild and she absolutely adored them.
Claudia is survived by her sons Charles "Chuck" D. Budd, Michael S. Budd (Trudi); grandchildren Brandy (Andy) Budd, Paul (Maghann) Budd, Bryan (Hillary) Budd, Matthew Budd and Zoyie Budd; 4 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father Claude Pitts; mother Dorothy Pitts; brother William Pitts; and husband Charles "Ted" E. Budd.
The family would like to thank the staff at Legacy Village Memory Care and Aspire Home Health for the tender care provided to Claudia over the past few years. A viewing will be held Monday August 18, 2014 from 9:30-10:30 am at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple. A Grave side service will follow at 11 am at Valley View Cemetery located at 4335 W 4100 S.
