Harold and Maxine Anderson

1925 ~ 2015

Emma Maxine Jensen Anderson, 90, passed away on October 30, 2015 and Harold Lotus\"Andy\"Anderson, 92, passed away on November 1, 2015 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Maxine was born February 6, 1925 in Brigham City, Utah to Milton Victor Jensen and Emma LaVeda Thompson. Andy was born on May 26, 1923 in Union Township, Effingham County, Illinois to Guy Fred Anderson and Lillie Wiegel.

They married on April 27, 1945 and have five children.

As active members of the LDS Church he served in many positions, including as bishop and a high council member and she as Relief Society and Young Woman President, Institute and many teaching callings. They served in the San Jose, California mission office.

Andy served in the Army Air Corps/US Air Force for 30 years and retired as a Lt. Colonel. Maxine a gourmet cook was exceptional in all endeavors.

They are survived by their children, Victor (Pearl), Bruce (Diane), Mark (Seija), Thomas and Mary (Rand), 23 grandchildren and 47 great grandchildren, his sister, Theda, and brother Guy and her brother Ron, preceded in death by parents and siblings Charles, Glen, Harold, Shirley and daughter-in-law Trudy.

Funeral services for both will be held at the LDS Crescent View Ward, 10945 S 1700 E, Sandy, on November 7th at 11:00 AM. Visitations at Larkin Sunset Gardens in Sandy on Friday from 6-8 PM and also on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 AM at the church. Laid to rest at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
