Beverly Jean Snyder Ecker (Mor Mor), 86, passed away September 3, 2016 at her home in Springville, Utah. She was born March 16, 1930 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Rosalia Caroline Dundas Snyder and Burtron Octavious Snyder Jr. Beverly graduated from South High. On June 27, 1951, she married her high school sweet-heart, Harold Sand Ecker, in the Salt Lake Temple. She was blessed with three wonderful children, Miriam, Randal and Lynn.
Beverly loved to cook and often times shared her cooking with those around her including her children and grandchildren who always looked forward to dinner parties and Mor Mor's. She served in many of the organizations for the LDS Church. Her time was spent caring for and serving others throughout her life. Her children and grandchildren admired and looked up to her example of service, faith and love. She was an angel on earth blessing the lives of all who knew her.
Beverly is survived by daughter, Miriam (Taylor) Harper, and son, Randal (Jill) Ecker, sister Carol (Bert) Rogers, brother Rodney (Carol) Snyder, brother Keith (Eileen) Snyder, sister Kaye (Dick) Lee, 12 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Ecker, her parents Burton and Rosalia Snyder, her sister, Rosa May Snyder, and her son, Lynn Stewart Ecker.
Services will be held Saturday, September 17, 2016. The viewing will be at 9:00 A.M., the funeral at 10:00 A.M. It will be held at Larkin Mortuary (260 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City). Interment will follow the funeral at the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
