Gunther Hans Buhl passed away October 30, 2014 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born June 13, 1926 in Germany and migrated to Canada and then to Salt Lake City where he became a U S Citizen. He, along with his wife, Sheila Buhl, served a mission in Germany and later in Nauvoo. He was an Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jesse Jean Holmes Buhl, and parents Johanna Bloombach Wilhelm Steine and stepfather George Max Buhl, and Sheila Buhl. Survivors include Gary L Buhl (Jean), Michael Buhl (Karen), Sandra Bloomquist (Ken), Laurie Pulham (Wade), Nancy Schriver (George). He also is survived by two sisters: Sonja Metkalfe (Derek)
and Anny Steinfeldt along with 20 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will beTues., Nov 4, at 11 a.m. at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East Dimple Dell Rd. (10600 S.), where a viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Online condolences: www.larkincares.com
