Our loving father passed away one day shy of his 71st birthday on October 27th, 2014. He was born on October 28th, 1943, to Henrietta and Norman Jensen in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was an amazing father who cherished every moment he had with his loved ones. He was a strong and courageous man. He loved making his grandchildren smile by showing them his Popeye muscles, and loved the outdoors. He is survived by his children Sherry (Ralph) Patty (Brent) David (Valerie) Brenda (Steve) Tammy (Tim) Cindy (Jason) 22 grandchildren 13 great-grandchildren 4 sisters 1 brother and many family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, our Mother Vera Cox, a son Bart Smithson, his brothers Samuel, Mychelee, Roger, and many beloved pets. Many thanks to all those who were there for him in person, thought, and prayer. A viewing will be held on Saturday,November 1st, 2014at the Larkin Mortuary ‚ Riverton, 3688 West 12600 South, Riverton, Utah, 84065, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. followed by a gathering from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
