1951 ~ 2016
Devoted wife, mother, and grandmother Kathy Patricia Bawden passed away February 11, 2016 after a courageous 23-year battle with cancer. She was born March 1, 1951 in Payson Utah to LeGrand Brady and Geraldine Buckway. She married Leonard Bawden on December 19, 1975.
Kathy enjoyed her family to the fullest. Her 12 grandkids were real joys in her life. She was an avid golf cart driver and enjoyed working in her yard. Kathy worked with a great group of people at Heatizon floor warming professionals.
Kathy is survived by her mother, husband, three step children whom she loved as her own; Brooks (Abby), Leonard (Susan) and Melanie (David) Green, sister Vicky, brothers Chad (Carollee) and Lex (Cindy) and 12 grandkids. She is preceded in death by her father, brother Kevin and sister Kellie.
Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 12:00 noon at the Mount Pleasant City Cemetery, 155 West Main Street. Friends and family may visit on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) in Sandy.
