Kae Hudson

1944 ~ 2014

Patricia "Kae" Hudson, loving sister, mother, Nana (Nora) and friend, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family.

Even though she only gave birth to four children, Kae considered many of her kid's friends her children as well. Always taking them in and treating them as her own. Whether it was a hot meal, a place to stay, a shoulder to cry on or dating advice, she was there 24/7.

Kae devoted her life to her family, always going the extra mile to make sure they always had everything they wanted. Her grandchildren always knew if mom and dad said no they could just ask Nana. She loved to spend time with her grandkids reading books, playing Yahtzee and Phase 10, as she was known for, and shopping. She loved to shop so much that she was known to redecorate an entire room on a whim. When entering her home, the smell of her Stargazer Lilies and the tea she drank, was always there to welcome you.

She was considered to be a best friend to many and valued every friendship she had. Every card that she received on holidays, etc. she kept. Every gift she ever received was displayed for everyone to see. She seemed to remember every little thing about her life and always had a story to tell. Family and friends loved hearing her life's adventures, even if it meant hearing them over and over again.

Her bright blue eyes always sucked you in and her beauty always shined for miles. Everyone knows her for her caring personality and her selflessness, hardly ever doing things for her benefit. Her quick wit and sense of humor has been carried on through the whole family, along with a bit of her stubborn side. When she had her mind set on something, nothing got in her way and she always managed to make it work.

Kae is survived by Teri Thomas, Brock (Suzie) Hudson, Megan Pollock, Kathy Hudson, 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Preceeded in death by her son, Troy Patrick Hudson.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Larkin Mortuary Riverton, 3688 West 12600 South, from 5:00 ‚ 8:00 PM. Condolences are welcomed at www.Larkincares.com
