Ramona Marie Oseguera

1934 ~ 2015

Our valiant little warrior boarded her Viking Ship in the early morning hours of July 8th. She waved goodbye and with a quick arrivederci, sayonara Charlie, adios amigos she sailed off into the sunset.

Born March 30, 1934 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Albert (Bus) and Mildred M. Harris. Ramona was raised in a family of five rowdy girls. She married Joseph R. Stuber and together they had 4 children, later divorced. She then married the love of her life, Ross L. Oseguera and over the next fifty years, they had 2 children and many wild adventures.

Ramona worked with her mother at the Salt Lake Tribune Credit Union for many years, during which her mother (Credit Union Manager) fired her weekly. She dedicated the next twenty years of her employment and retired as the Securities Coordinator for the State of Utah.

She had a wonderful sense of humor, loved to laugh and loved making others laugh. She was a compassionate woman who was always willing to give to those less fortunate and could often be found giving her own things to those in need. She was passionate about puzzles, canasta, jitterbug and the ocean. She was an excellent cook especially after she learned that she didn't need to cremate the meat. Love ya mom.

Survived by 4 children; Deb Crose, Dan Stuber, Amy (Phil) Stephenson, John (Lupina) Oseguera, sisters Shirley Jensen, Penny (Richard) Kocherhans, 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by cherished husband Ross, parents, 2 sisters, 1 brother-in-law, 2 children, 2 daughter-in-laws, 1 grandchild and beloved precious pet dog Queen Minnie.

A very special thanks goes out to Vanessa for the care and love she gave to Grandma and Grandpa, and to all her besties at St. Joseph's Villa Senior Apartments, she truly cherished her friendships there.

A memorial reception for the cremated remains will be held Friday, July 10th from 6-8pm at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, SLC, and prior to the service from 11:00-11:45 am on Saturday July 11th, funeral will begin at 12:00 pm. Graveside dedication to follow at Salt Lake City Cemetery, 200 "N" Street.

Due to fire code violations the Viking Funeral will be held at a private location for family and friends at a later date. Viking attire will be mandatory! Light refreshments of Cheetos and Swedish Fish will be served. On line condolences: www.larkincares.com.
