Samuel Mark Falkner, 36, beloved husband, son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend was called home on February 15, 2016 due to a sudden illness. He was born to goodly parents, Mark and Sidnee Falkner, on July 28th, 1979. Sam married his sweetheart, Lyndsey Adams, May 17th, 2006 in Eagle Mountain, Utah and sealed in the Timpanogos, Utah Temple on August 22nd, 2009 for time and all eternity with their family. Sam and Lyndsey are the proud parents of Kenzie (13), Kierra (11), Gracie (7), and Ammon (3) Falkner.
Sam was a loving family man. He was universally loved and respected by all that had the privilege to know him. Sam loved and lived life to its fullest. Family, Jeeps, motorcycles, movies and friends all filled his life. Sam's passion for the open trail was nourished by his career with the family business, Teraflex. He had a heart the size of a lion with the softness of a teddy bear. The smiles and laughter that he brought to those around him will be missed. Spending mere minutes with this great man left you with the impression that you had been friends for a lifetime. He was a faithful Home-Teacher, Elder, and most recently a Young Men's Leader in the LDS Church. Sam was a gospel scholar by its application more than the written words and a humble man of Christ. Sam will be greatly missed, but we have a smile on our face as we remember him and the faith and values that he stood for.
Sam is survived by his parents, wife, children, siblings; Benjamin (Kimberly) Falkner, Brittany (Niel) Lund, Mindy (Gregory) Buckway, Ian (Melissa) Falkner, and Alie (Jaren) Crane, grandparents; Don (Mary) Falkner, Charles (Karla) Alvey, and Colleen (Alvie) Carter, and 7 nephews and 6 nieces.
Preceded in death by: Grandmother, Sharon Alvey, and nephew, Hyrum Lund.
Visitation will be held Sunday, February 21st from 6:00-8:00 PM at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) in Sandy, UT and on Monday, February 22nd from 9-10:30 AM prior to the services at 11:00 AM at Eagle Mountain Utah North Stake 8285 N. Porters Crossing Pkwy, Eagle Mountain, Utah. Interment will be held at the Holladay Memorial Cemetery.
