Our beloved wife, mother, Nana, and friend, Nancy Jean King, was reunited with loved ones on May 20, 2017. Her loving husband, Randall, was by her side where he has been for nearly 50 years. Nancy was born on January 3, 1944 in San Bernardino CA to her parents, Frederick Henry Pettengill and Jean Evelyn Capfer. On November 11, 1967 she was married to Randall L King and together they raised their family in West Jordan. She retired from her work as an Administrative Assistant at Hercules Aerospace and was proud of her career. But most important to her was happy memories of time spent with friends, family, kids, grandkids and great-grandkids through all the family reunions, and camping, fishing and hunting trips. The last few years were spent in Washington, but her heart was always in Utah with her friends and family.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Randall; brother, Robin (Beth); sister-in-law, Charlotte; brother-in-law, Michael (Sonja), brother-in-law, Neal; sister-in-law, Maggie; sister-in-law Lorna; three children, Steven (JuLee), Christina (Daniel), and Bonnie; seven grandchildren, Kaili, Robin, Gates, Sasha, Jason, Terrica, and James; five great-grandchildren, Garath, Charlie Anne, Dante, Jaxson, and Stolus; nieces and nephews, and a large and loving extended family.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Fred R Pettengill; Father- and Mother-in-law, Don and Helen King; brother-in-law, Darrell; and her best friend in the world, Barbara Bair.
On June 3rd, 2017, the viewing and graveside service will be held at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 S., Sandy UT 84092.
