Ronald William Griffiths was born December 28, 1936 to Margaret and Reginald S Griffiths in Salt Lake City. Ron passed away on August 7, 2017 after battling cancer and COPD for five years. He spent time living in Salina, Utah as a teenager and returned to Salt Lake to graduate from South High in 1955 and later graduated from Westminster College in 1960. Ron married his high school sweetheart Sharon Schoenfeld on August 27, 1959. He worked at Hercules and Gillham Advertising, from where he retired. In his spare time he enjoyed skiing, hunting, fishing, wood carving, painting and time spent in Beaver Dam, Arizona with the Rat-Pac.
He is survived by his loving wife; children Gregg (Svetlana) and Dana (John); grandchildren Jeremy (Ashley), Jesika (Maxwell), Jadie, Shaela and Patrisha.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 12th at 1:30 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 1950 E Dimple Dell Road (10600 S), Sandy, UT, 84092, with a viewing held Friday the 11th from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Saturday. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
