Ruth May Chandler Brown

1937 ~ 2017

Our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother returned to her Heavenly Father peacefully on September 20, 2017, surrounded by a good number of her family.

She was born December 20, 1937 to Cyril F. Chandler and Dorothy May Chandler in Ware, Massachusetts. Ruth was the oldest of four siblings, Cyril, Jr. (Buddy), Carol and George.

Ruth\s life was centered around church and family. She was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She served as Den Leader for the Cub Scouts, different teaching positions, and enjoyed working in the Temple, but Ruth's true calling was genealogy. She truly had a passion for and was very good at searching her genealogy.

She loved and served her family all her life. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the joy and center of her life. She is survived by seven sons, Donald, Gary (Terry), Mark (Tina), Eric (Christina), Ralph, Jr. (Angie), Raymond (Chandler) (Michelle), Robert (Seth) (Susan) and 80 plus grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Ira Brown, Sr., parents, her sister Carol, her brother George, grandchildren Tracy and Hyrum.

She had many great friends in the Vernal, Utah area and enjoyed getting together and going to rendezvous. She also enjoyed making beaded jewelry, stamping; making all her own greeting cards, scrap booking, and many other crafts.
