Janet (Jane) Horne Archuleta passed away June 22, 2017 at the age of 56. She was born Feb. 21, 1961 to Barbara G and Joseph F. Horne, Jr. Jane was raised in SLC and went to Highland High and the U of U. She began her lifetime career with Smiths at the age of 16 and retired 35 years later. She was a Store Director for many years. Jane married Don Archuleta Sept. 21, 2002 after meeting at the Bongo. She and Arch loved their dogs Savanna, Rico(Stinky), traveling and hosting parties for family and many friends. Jane was a SHOPPER, car lover, decorator, skier, tennis player and a lifelong thoughtful gift giver and a great friend.
Jane is survived by her husband, her sisters, Marsha Weidner (Bill), Becky Gray (Dan), Julie Mahoney (Jeff), Shelly MacDonald (Jim) brother Richard, Arch\s brothers Lynel (Donna), Greg (Paula), Tim (Darlene), Derick (Cindy), his sisters Priscilla Martinez, Ellie Wright (Mark), Pat Florez, Joe Atencio and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, her mom in law Pauline, brother in law Steve Florez and niece Natalie Horne.
There will be a gathering June 28th from 6:00-8:00 PM at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary 2350 E. 1300 So. The funeral will be at the Mortuary June 29th at 12:00 pm with a gathering one hour prior to her service.
