Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather Frank William Van Zomeren passed away on November 23, 2017 at his home after spending Thanksgiving Day surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 24, 1934 and spent his 83 years working hard to provide for his family. Some of his proudest accomplishments were serving his country in the United States Navy and working as a locomotive engineer at Union Pacific Railroad for 46 years. He died two weeks shy of his 61st wedding anniversary to the love of his life Janice Rebecca North. He is survived by his two children, Michael (Kristin) Van Zomeren and Teresa (Todd) Pyper, and his brother Brent (Shauna) Van Zomeren. His greatest joy in life was his three grandchildren, Erin Van Zomeren, and Michael Todd and Katelyn Pyper.
