Our beloved wife, mother, grandma and great grandma JoEtta Rose Weeks Patterson passed away on December 28, 2015 at the age of 83. She was born April 5, 1932 in Idaho Falls, ID to James Hyrum Weeks and Ellen Dora Clark. She married Alvin Patterson on June 25, 1951 and was later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on May 10, 1957.
JoEtta enjoyed embroidering, crocheting and knitting. She loved doing family history and extracted thousands of names. She served in many callings in the church including Relief Society president and Primary president. She spent many hours in her flower and vegetable gardens. JoEtta is a very loving, caring and talented lady.
Joetta is survived by her husband, children; DeLynn (Susan Kay) Patterson, Bonnie (Doug) Fullmer, Susan (Mike) Thompson and Judy Patterson, 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Marcene Stoltenburg, brother Jerry Weeks, and grandson Bryan Thompson.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) in Sandy.
