Donald Lynn Paxman

1950 ~ 2019

On Sunday, February 24, 2019 our father, son, brother and uncle Donald Lynn Paxman, returned home to heaven, and was reunited with his sweetheart Cheryl.

Donald was born December 1, 1950 to Claude and Colleen Paxman in Provo, Utah. He was the oldest of 3 children.He married Cheryl (Farmer) on June 10, 1982 in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they had one son, who they cherished.

Don served in the US Airforce from May 1970 being honorably discharged July, 10, 1974. He then went on to serve an LDS mission in Milford, Oregon.

Don held many positions in the business world until finding his niche working along his wife and son to build up a successful ice cream and catering business in the local community.

In his free time he enjoyed tinkering with electronics, building a plane, riding his Harley Davidson, and being with his friends and family.

He is loved by all that knew him, Don loved the Lord with all his heart, He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl and father Claude. Don is survived by his son Seth Paxman (Lacey), mother Colleen Paxman, siblings Duane and Elaine (Steve) and his little buddy, his grandson, Kaladin. He also has many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends that love him dearly, and we will all miss him "for sure".

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 beginning at 11 AM at the Crescent Ridge 4th Ward, 1265 East 11000 South in Sandy. A visitation will be held Monday evening at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 S.) in Sandy from 6-8 PM, as well as Tuesday prior to services beginning at 10 AM. Interment to follow services at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park in Bluffdale, Utah.
