Betty Lou Gilley
Mom passed away at home surrounded by her loving family. She married Larry McArthur in Salt Lake City, Utah. They had 4 beautiful children; Alan, Bret, Cathy & Deann. They later divorced and Betty married Leonard Gilley. After marrying Leonard she gained 3 sons Bryan, Gordan, and Marvin. They lived in West Jordan for over 40 years. Betty was a waitress for Dees Family Restaurant until she retired. Her hobbies included gardening, \"She had a green thumb\", collecting ceramic dolls and Betty Boop décor. Betty loved country music and they listened to it often. She loved her family very much and will be missed dearly.
Survived by; husband Leonard, sister Shirley, children; Kim McArthur (Alan), Bret McArthur, Cathy Erickson (Terryl), Deann Darden, step-son Bryan (Patricia), Gordan, and Marvin, 14 grandchildren & 24 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, mother in law, sisters Mona Widell, Mary Freezen, brothers John Eiland, Clayton Eiland & son Alan McArthur, Grandsons Brandon Griffiths & Jason Sorensen.
Funeral service will be held at Larkin Mortuary Riverton, Friday, May 17, 2019, Viewing from 10 - 11 am, funeral service at 11 am, graveside service at West Jordan Cemetery, 1 pm.
