Our Angel, Jamie Lynn Love Martinez, returned to Heaven on August 23, 2019. She was a beloved Wife, Mother, Nana and Daughter. She was born to LonaKaye Wilcox and Larry Jon Love on September 25, 1961 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Jamie was raised and went to school in West Jordan, Utah. She worked as a telephone operator for Mountain Bell (now Quest) for many years. Just being in the mountains brought her peace. She loved fishing and was good at it. Other hobbies were cross stitching, quilting, reading and music.
Jamie lived life to the fullest, always treating everyone equally. She was a second Mom to so many. Jamie understood what love really was and taught and shared it with her family, bringing joy to her Children and Grandchildren. She was truly an Angel on Earth, who left us way too soon on her trip to Heaven. She will be missed dearly every minute of every day. Her love lives on through all the souls she touched.

Jamie was preceded in death by her Father, Larry Jon Love, and Niece, Haily Kaye Gardner. She is survived by her Husband, Rudy Edward Martinez; 4 Children; Michael Robert Childers (Deedee), James Vincent Childers (Abby), Shantel Lynn McLean (Jason) and Joseph Orlando Tafoya; 18 Grandchildren; Dominick, Kaden, Luke, Jordan, Nathan, Derek, Aurora, Clayton, Daxton, Shyann, Beau, Lilly, Scotty, Jace, Athena, Sage, Eddie and Leon; 7 Brothers; Kelly, Russell, Rodney, Anthony, Clifford, Michael and Alan; 2 Sisters; Kristin and Kim; her Mom, LonaKaye Wilcox and Step-moms; Marie Love and Dora Poulson; 3 Step-daughters; Anna, Rosa and Lela; and many Nieces, Nephews, relatives and friends.
A memorial was held Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at her home in West Jordan, Utah.
