Wes passed away peacefully on Monday April 16, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Wes was the fifth child born to George Dewey and Laura Wagstaff Watts.
Wes lived his life to the fullest of every day. He had an great love for fishing, camping, traveling, hunting, gardening and shopping for goodies. Wes also had a great love for Chocolate chip cookies.
He loved working. When he retired from his regular job from Johnson Control as a Pipe Fitter, He traveled for a year and then took a position as part of a maintenance crew at Strawberry reservoir updating campsites for travelers. He loved this part of his retirement because of all of the wonderful people he met and all of the friends he acquired.
He is survived by his children Jeffery K. Watts (Jennifer), Tammy L. Stewart (Shawn), Step Son Kelly World (Stacy), Sister Carol Watts, 12 Grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
Wes is preceded in death by his wife Donalee Watts, Parents George and Laura Watts, Sisters Gloria and Dorothy and Brother Lynn.
The family would like to thank the loving staff at Sagewood at Daybreak, Jordan Valley Hospital, Silverado Rehab, and Brighton Home Health Care for taking such amazing care of our loving father during his last year life.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday April 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Salt Lake City Cemetery. Plot 181. You can get information at the office.
Friends may call Friday night from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary on 260 East South Temple. In lieu of flowers we ask that you donate to the Utah Food Bank or to Primary Children's Hospital as our father did for many years.
