Gloria passed away peacefully at home on September 1, 2017. She was born May 25, 1925 in Salt Lake City to George and Margaret Norris. She attended South High School. She married the love of her life Clark "Sprout" Romney on October 5, 1943 in Salt Lake City. Gloria was an avid golfer and member of the Hidden Valley Country Club.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Gary) Green, Sue Madsen and Christie (Allen) Saunders, granddaughters, Tammy (Darren) Ottley, Stephanie (Scott) Bauman, Keri Cromar, Stacy (Allen) Nielsen and Elizabeth (Dan) Miles, eleven great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and her dog Juddy. Preceded in death by her husband Clark, brothers Jack and George and grandson Kevin.
The family would like to thank mom's caregivers Melanie, Lili and Pam for the great love and care they showed to our mother. We would also like to thank Care Giving Services and Alpha Omega Hospice.
At mom's request, there will be a graveside service on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy. After the graveside service Gloria's friends are invited to join the family for a celebration of life at her home. In Lieu of flowers please donate to the Human Society of Utah or your favorite charity.
