Merle June Paulk passed away on Nov. 14th, 2014 in Sandy, Utah. She was born on June 16th, 1933 in Murray, Utah to Raymond Seth Miller and Mary Alida Williams Miller. She was a descendant of the early pioneers; Archibald Gardner and Reuben Miller, also Chillian Letts Miller the First Mayor of Murray City, Utah. Merle married Doyle Gene Paulk on Oct. 4th, 1956 and later they were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. She was an administrative assistant, a wonderful wife and mother. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, children; Raymond, Michelle (Justin), Leon, grandchildren; Mindy, Mark, Elyce, Brayden, Bryson, and great grandchildren; Brindy, Draylee, Adryana. She is a pillar of strength to the family and always will be. Merle will be greatly missed, till we meet again. She loved butterflies, bird watching, rock collecting, flowers, getting away with her family and friends. As a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, she loved teaching primary, enjoined doing her family history and going to the temple.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20th at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd. (10600 S.), Sandy. Visitations to be held on Wed., Nov. 19th from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Crescent 16th Ward, 251 E. 10600 S. in Sandy, as well as on Thursday from 10-10:45 a.m. held at Larkin Sunset Gardens. Interment to follow at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
