Betty was active in the LDS church and was a member of many wards in her lifetime and had many callings in those wards. One of her favorites was the Hunter 2nd Ward where she was a member of a close group of women known as the Golden Girls. As a group they attended functions, went on outings and lunched regularly. Her association with the Golden Girls was one of the highlights of her later years. She loved her Golden Girl companions and the time spent with them very much.

Betty spent more than 40 years of her life as part of a Canasta club. She also cherished and loved all the members of that club. She greatly missed all of them as they preceded her in death.

Our family would like to give thanks to both, Doug her son and Cathy her daughter in-law for giving her a home and taking such good care of her for nearly 13 years, and we would like to express our deepest thanks and gratitude to Cathy for giving her such love and care in her last days
