Bettie Lou Layne Lloyd (85) passed away peacefully on Tue., Feb. 24, 2015, reuniting with her beloved husband. She was born in Lewiston, Utah, Dec. 4, 1929, to Wilbur E. and Jennie Blair Layne, the youngest of 6 children. She married her high school sweetheart, S. LaVere Lloyd, Aug. 18, 1947 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were married for 60 wonderful years.
Bettie was an excellent cook and seamstress, who lovingly crocheted and sewed quilts for family and charity. She enjoyed music, dancing, camping and fishing and shared this love with her husband, children and friends.
They raised 5 children: Ron (Jerry Lyn), Gary (Sharene), Julie (Craig) Christensen, Paul (Ruth Ann) and Linda (Mark) Harwood. She has 26 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband LaVere and 3 grandsons. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Sat., Feb. 28, 2015 at the Francis LDS Chapel, 387 W. Last Frontier Lane, Francis Utah with a visitation from 10:30 to 11:30.
