Ada R. Burrows

1923 ~ 2013

Ada R. Burrows peacefully passed away, September 30, 2013 in Riverton, Utah. She was born October 8, 1923 in Upalco, Utah to Charles Henry Marshall and Hannah Eveline Plum-Marshall. She married Chester E. Burrows July 24, 1941 and later Solemnize in the Salt Lake City Temple. Ada was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Ada and Chet were temple workers and later served an LDS mission in Ottawa, Illinois.

Ada was full of adventure, fun and humor to the very end. She loved her family dearly and was a great example of faith, hope and charity. She is survived by daughters Linda Petersen (Richard), Ginger Nichols (fiancé Harry), Alisa Madill (Verl),son-in-law Richard Williams (Danna),15 Grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 3 great-great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, ten siblings; husband Chet, daughter Vicky, and granddaughter Tammy. Family would like to thank church members, Dr. Griffin and hospices workers Kelly and Melissa for their loving care.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary Chapel, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, where visitations will be held Sunday 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Monday 10:00-10:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Larkin Sunset Gardens.
