Emma Jeanne LeSueur Cunningham

1987 ~ 2014

This past Wednesday, our beloved Emma was tapped on the shoulder and asked to serve elsewhere. She passed away from a sudden heart arrhythmia at her home in Orlando Florida.

Emma was born December 28th 1987 to Brig and Karen LeSueur in Fort Collins Colorado. She lived her life in Cheyenne, Wyoming; Nogales, Arizona; Idaho Falls, Idaho; Provo, Utah; and, Orlando Florida. Emma graduated high school at Idaho Falls High School and college at Brigham Young University in Provo Utah.

In 2009 she served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Washington D.C. South Mission, covering the Arlington, Virginia area.

After her mission, she was sealed to her forever companion, Eric Flint Cunningham in the Idaho Falls Temple on November 20th 2010. Their daughter, Nora Jeanne was born March 7, 2012.

While her husband Eric was working on his P.H.D. in Physics at the University of Central Florida, Emma taught physics at a local Orlando high school. She also served her church in the Primary organization as a Cub Scout Den Mother.

Emma loved life and was a friend to all with a ready smile and a warm heart. She was pristine, and a noble and great one.

Emma is survived by her husband Eric and daughter Nora; her parents Brig and Karen LeSueur; five brothers, Rehn, Ethan, Jared, Lincoln, and Larkin; 4 inherited sisters, Heather, Lindsay, Melissa and Allyson; and 17 nieces and nephews called her "Auntie Em". She was accompanied in death by her expected son, Cyrus Reid Cunningham.

Funeral services will be held at The LDS Valley View Stake Center, 2245 E. 3900 South, Salt Lake City, Utah, Wednesday July 16th 12 noon. Friends and family may gather at the church from 10 to 11:30 AM. Interment will follow the funeral at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Larkin Mortuary. There will also be a Memorial held in her honor in Orlando Florida on Saturday July 19th 11 AM at the University Park Ward, Orlando Florida.

Emma has a lot in common with Mary Poppins, both are Practically Perfect in Every Way.
