Today I say goodbye to my best friend, my lover, my companion, my husband, I wish I could hug you once more. Dad, you will forever be in our hearts and thoughts, we will miss you and love you forever.
David passed away at home with his wife Jill and daughter Tara by his side. He was the oldest son of Raymond and Elaine Jones.
Dave was always a hard worker, working at various jobs to provide for his family. In 1984 he started his own business and worked even harder to make it successful. Along with his work, Dave found enjoyment while ATV riding and spending time with his "rugrats". Grandkids always brought him joy.
Dave is survived by his wife Jill, children Tara (Darren) Hunsaker, Brady (Vanette) Jones, Jill's 5 children; Tanya (Cooper) Crystal, Ruby (Paul) Sargent, Tasia (Jeremy) Steffensen, Rye (Cassie) Woolstenhulme, Jay Houston and 18 adorable grandkids, siblings Richard (Jodie) Jones, Laura (Lee) Miller, Mary (Joe) Gardner and Peggy (Dave) Lovell. Preceded in death by his parents.
A viewing will be held Friday evening, January 9, 2015 from 6:00 ‚ 8:00 PM at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) in Sandy. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 2:00 PM. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens. Online condolences welcomed at www.larkincares.com.
