Esther Edlund Fox

1936 ~ 2015

An amazing, loving, and dedicate young woman passed on 4 July 2015 at the age of 79. Daughter of Allen Leonard Edlund and Thelma Earl was born 1 March 1936 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Survived by Alvin Fox Husband and sister Aleen Edlund Ash.

Esther attended South High School and was a competitive roller skater and won several metals. She met her husband to be at the Normande Skating rink. She was married 11 April 1957 in the Salt Lake Temple. While married lived in New Port Road Island, Charleston, South Carolina, Redwood City, California and Chula Vista, California. While in Chula Vista she served in the Southern Regional Library in San Diego, California for 20 years. She also served in the LA, San Diego Temples for 3 years. Also the Jordan River temple for 7 Years. Served in the Family History Library for 7 years.

While she was in San Diego she was an artist with the San Diego art association. She worked in Oil Painting, Water Color and China Painting. She has also published four genealogy books. She loved to find ancestors and to help people find theirs.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Garden Cove Ward, 1945 W. 9000 S. West Jordan, Utah. Viewings will be held on Friday night from 6-8 p.m. at the Larkin Mortuary ‚ Riverton, 3688 W. 12600 S. Riverton, Utah and also on Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church.
