Jeannie peacefully passed away to join her parents (John and Montana Asay Lohrenz) and adored younger sisters (Kay and Willie) on June 4, 2015 in Murray, Utah. Jeannie married Eugene C. Stevens—her husband of 61 years—in the Cardston, Alberta temple and is survived by him and their three daughters: Jill Stark (Randy), Heidi Sorenson (Rex), and Melissa Kros (Gregory). Her 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great granddaughters were privileged to feel of her love. A memorial service will be held in her honor on June 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at her Waterloo L.D.S. Ward located at 1623 S. 500 E. Salt Lake City, Utah.
