Donna Marie Hilton Pickering passed away November 2, 2017 in West Jordan, Utah. She was born October 13, 1938 in Holladay, Utah to Floyd A. Hilton and Marjorie Meadows. Donna married James A. Pickering on June 28, 1957. She loved her husband dearly and would follow him anywhere.
Donna had a very dry sense of humor and a quick wit. She was a "class act". She was quick to take care of other peoples' needs. Donna loved animals and often took in strays. Donna enjoyed a variety of activities including; bowling with her league, golfing, crocheting, gardening, cooking, canning, crafts with kids and grandkids, and archery. She loved spending time with her family. She often traveled to St. George to visit her parents. Donna also enjoyed her time spent at her property in Salina. She was the "saint" that held her family together.
Donna is survived by her children; Gary (Roxanne), Tina, Kelly (Shireen), Lisa (Rodney) and Darrin (Angela) Frisch, grandchildren; Jason, Pam, Steven, Mikey, Chris, Jeff, Ashley, Colton, Kelden, Makayla, Shaylee, Jayden, Tanner and Brooklyn and great grandchildren: Evelyn, Dante, Kami, Presley, Quade, Raylee, Levi, Hadlie and June. She is preceded in death by her husband James A. Pickering and her son Chris.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy. Friends may call Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the mortuary and Tuesday morning one hour prior to services. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
