Joseph "Rusty" Sagendorf was born July 23, 1966 in Salt Lake City, UT to Joseph F. and Lynette Thurgood Sagendorf. He passed away at his home on March 18, 2016 in Taylorsville, UT. He married Denise Murdock and their marriage was later sealed in the Oquirrh Mountian Temple.
The first time I heard Rusty's voice, I felt comfortable and at ease. If you knew him, you know what I mean. Rusty had an easy laugh and wanted to make people smile. He will be so missed and the world will have a big hole in it without him! He enjoyed so many things; outdoors, camping, fishing and golf. He really enjoyed being a referee for youth sports. He was very good at his job in industrial gasket sales. He had 30 years experience in this field. He had many friends and customers because of his great attitude.
He is survived by his wife, children Reese (Amelia), Dallin (Annette), Amy, Sarah, Kim (Flavio) Orlandini and Marcus (Anna) Jaeger, parents, siblings Jolynn (Reed) Orcutt, Holly (Mike) Tisdale, Ricky (Season) Sagendorf and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm and Wednesday from 11:00am to 12:30pm at the Bennion 12th Ward Building, 6550 South 2700 West, Taylorsville, UT. Interment will take place at Larkin Sunset Gardens, Sandy, UT. Online condolences welcomed at www.larkincares.com.
